Walden Alumni--A Special Family
Our alumni play a vital role in Walden's success: In 2012, more than a third of our campers had a parent who had been a Walden camper!
Your loyalty and continued enthusiasm are helping to preserve Walden, both as a magical place for children and as a protected Northern Michigan oasis (because, as we all know, a more beautiful Midwestern camp does not exist!)
Walden made possible some of the most precious memories of our youth and young adulthood. We can still taste Frieda's fried chicken, sing Don Sill's "A-Day" song, hear Neal calling from the office porch, feel Larry's "You don't fool me" glare, and visualize those tearful final campfires in the Pit.
We hope that you'll connect with our special alumni family: by attending a reunion or Family Camp, joining our Facebook groups, purchasing a brick for our new "Walk of Fame," becoming a member of the Walden Alumni Club, or simply, sending an email to let us know that you were here!
