SO… Here’s the (somewhat tentative) reunion schedule. See below it for registration details:
The 60th Anniversary Alumni Reunion will begin with arrivals between 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30.
A Friday Welcome Party** will precede dinner in the Mess Hall, followed by a night of games and activities. Transportation to and from The Pines will be provided each evening.
Saturday includes a morning team competition and A-B activities, plus an optional trip to Mackinac Island in the afternoon through early evening. We’ll serve a late (7 p.m.-ish), light dinner for those who want to eat at camp on Saturday evening, or you may make your own dinner plans (possibly the Hack, DLB or the Yeck?). Evening program will begin at 9 p.m.
Sunday, our big day, will be chockful of A-B activities leading up to that evenings Walden Under the Stars (the undisputed highlight of the 50th Reunion)–polish-up those dusty acts! The Silent Auction will conclude this evening as well.
Monday morning’s “banquet” and awards ceremony will close the weekend. Departure by noon. Farewell!
**Walden will not serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own adult beverages to this adults-only event.
Registration will open Friday, January 18. We will publish a LINK to the registration form here on Facebook, as well as on our Website, www.campwaldenmi.com, AND email the link to Alumni who have registered on our Website. If you have an Alumni account already, you can login under the “Alumni” link on our homepage and find the registration form there. You do NOT have to have an alumni account in order to access the registration form. Alumni attendees must be 28 years or older.
The cost of the three-night reunion is $475, but early registration discount reduces it to $425 through April 1. Two-night stays are $400. There is no option for one night–sorry.
