Waterfront

Walden's shimmering waterfront on Long Lake is not only postcard pretty. It's packed with great activities.

At its center is a sandy beach and swim area staffed by Red Cross-certified lifeguards and instructors.

Further down the shoreline, waterskiers, wakeboarders and tubers zip ‘round Long Lake propelled by Walden’s ski boats, including three top-of-the-line Mastercraft. Closer to the lagoon, canoes, kayaks and windsurfers navigate the waves.

Camp's sail boats range from small
Sunfish to larger sail boats for group
instruction and racing. An annual regatta
and visits to nearby sailing clubs keep
sailors busy.

(FYI: Larry is a real stickler about
wearing sunscreen — don’t forget yours!)

SAFETY CHECK: All campers in boating
classes must pass a swimming test, and
life vests are mandatory for everyone,
including staff, using the lake.
