Evenings and Special Days

Walden nights are some of the most exciting parts of our days: scavenger hunts, sing downs, capture the flag, paper-bag dramatics, insanity nights, softball games, campfires, beach parties, movie nights, etc., etc., etc.! These evening programs are usually spent in unit groups, meaning several cabins of campers of similar ages.

Special Days at camp, twice a week, usually involve all-day unit programs, such as the boys’ beloved Soap Box Derby, or all-camp activities like the counselor hunt, Venetian Festival, 4th of July carnival and triathlon. Day trips out of camp to Mackinac Island or Duncan Bay occur on Special Days as well.
