Directors

Owners-Directors Larry and Ina Stevens
exemplify the high caliber of guidance
available to campers at Walden. Both are
lifelng campers and possess a dedication to
providing children with the highest quality
camping experience.

Larry Stevens, one of Walden's two
cofounders, has earned both B.A. and M.A.
degrees in Education and History. He has
extensive teaching experience, and has
been an active member in the American
Camping Association since 1959.

Ina Stevens has worked professionally with children in both the classroom and camp settings for over thirty-five years. She has been at Walden since 1964. Today she functions as registrar, supervisor of the girls' side and overall "camp mom." She pays special attention to new Walden campers, but makes a point of recognizing all campers by name.

Under the supervision of these talented professionals, Walden has acquired a staff of counselors and other administrative personnel from around the world, chosen both for their expertise and commitment to camping.
